Do you know the difference between a Single Quinta Vintage Port and 20 or 30 year old Tawny Port? Ever tried a Single Harvest Tawny Port from 1968? If you would like to learn the difference between these styles of Ports and taste a unique and varied selection of Ports, then you are in luck.
Join us on Tuesday, October 23 as Marquis Wine Cellars in partnership with Pacific Wine and Spirits hosts a sit down tasting featuring a selection of six different Port wines from The Fladgate Partnership.
Cynthia Opsal, The Fladgate Partnership Brand Manager, will be leading this tasting and will guide the participants through an exciting tasting of these tremendous wines. Cynthia will impart her knowledge of the region and wines to those who attend and this should prove to be an educational and entertaining evening. We will also be providing some cheeses, chocolate, nuts and dried fruit to accompany the Ports so you can experience how as little food or textures changes each wine.
The Ports to be sampled are:
- Croft 2005 Quinta da Roeda
- Fonseca 2005 Quinta do Panascal
- Taylor Fladgate 2012 Quinta de Vargellas
- Fonseca 20 Year Old Tawny Port
- Taylor Fladgate 30 Year Old Tany Port
- Taylor Fladgate 1968 Single Harvest Porto
* wines subject to change without notice.
