Join us at Marquis Wine Cellars on Wednesday, September 26th from 5:30pm to 7pm as we host a free, in store Champagne Gosset tasting. This is a casual, stand up style tasting and guests will have the opportunity to sample four Champagne’s from this prestigious house. Special retail pricing will also be in effect during the tasting from anyone who wishes to take advantage of it and acquire a few bottles for their cellar or an upcoming celebration.
The Export Director for Champagne Gosset, Nicolas Cauchois, will be in attendance to pour the wines and explain their history, provenance and to answer any questions you might have regarding the wines. Champagne Gosset was found in 1584 and is the oldest wine house in Champagne. For more than four centuries, the preservation of style, elegance and family tradition in the making of Gosset champagne has been paramount. The high quality of these wines commences in the vineyard but it is through the extended ageing in the cellars that the wines attain their greatness. A non-vintage wine is aged for 5 years, while vintage Champagnes see up to seven years and the CELEBRIS Cuvee’s are held for ten before release.
Marquis Wine Cellars would like to thank Evolution Fine Wines for the opportunity to host this unique event.
